Job Summary
Conduct in-studio recording sessions for AI voice technology projects, delivering takes across specified emotional tones including cheerful, low, flat, and excited. Record a variety of scripted content ranging from everyday conversation to industry professional contexts and customer-support scripts involving numbers, codes, and dates. Take live direction from the recording engineer on pacing, pronunciation, mic technique, and retakes while maintaining consistent voice quality and studio discipline throughout a 2+ hour session. Submit a resume and demo reel demonstrating range, clarity, and control. This engagement involves a fixed one-time payment of up to ₹8,000 processed approximately 30 days after approval.
Required Qualifications
- Odia
- 1–2+ years of professional experience in voice-over, dubbing, radio jockeying, audiobook narration, or comparable voice work
- A demo reel, voice sample, or portfolio that demonstrates range, clarity, and control
- Native or near-native Odia fluency with clear, broadly neutral pronunciation
- Proven ability to sustain vocal quality and focus across a 2+ hour recording session
- Comfortable taking direction and shifting delivery across multiple emotional registers on cue
- Prior studio/professional recording experience — comfortable with mic distance, positioning, and repeated retakes without fatigue affecting quality
- Reliable and punctual, able to commit to a scheduled in-studio slot in Bengaluru
- Willing to sign a confidentiality/NDA agreement, as this project involves proprietary AI training data
Desired Qualifications
- Experience recording alphanumeric or technical scripts (IVR, e-learning, customer support VO)
- Comfort with multiple dialects or accent ranges within Odia
- Own basic recording setup (useful if a remote audition sample is requested before the studio session)
