Job Summary
Experienced CNC OD/ID Grinder needed to set up, operate, and maintain CNC OD/ID grinding machines for aerospace components. The role requires precise tolerance control (.0001”) using radius dressers and other tools, interpretation of conversational programming (OKUMA preferred), and thorough quality inspection of parts with standard measuring tools. Requires strong blue-collar collaboration within a team, attention to geometric tolerancing, and the ability to read technical drawings while maintaining tight tolerances in a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 Years OD/ ID or Jig Grinding Experience Required
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification in CNC machining preferred
- CNC OD ID Grinding experience preferred; conversational programming OKUMA OD ID Grinding preferred
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools; ability to hold .0001” tolerances
- Deep understanding of technical drawings and GD&T
