Job Summary
Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing and introduce patients to the optometrist with important information. Transition patients from the doctor to the sales floor to educate associates on products and services that meet their eye care needs. Execute operational activities including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to support exam lane maintenance. Prepare the technician work schedules to meet patient and doctor demand, and count the optometrist's daily revenue for deposit. This role ensures the best possible journey for every patient through the Visionworks Exam Practice experience.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
- Licensed OD Techs will have/maintain a State Opticians License
- must demonstrate a high level of engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings to support effective communication and team alignment
- We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform pre-employment substance abuse testing

- Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary
