Job Summary
Conduct preliminary eye testing, maintain accurate patient records, and transition patients from the exam lane to the sales floor with product recommendations. Train and schedule OD Techs, prepare daily technician work schedules, and count the Optometrist's revenue for deposits. Execute operational tasks including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to ensure exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals are met. Introduce patients to OD and provide them with critical information to meet their eye care needs.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
- Licensed OD Techs will have/maintain a State Opticians License
- must demonstrate a high level of engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings to support effective communication and team alignment
Desired Qualifications
- Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary
