Job Summary
Coach direct service staff in the field on High-Fidelity Wraparound principles, modeling best practices and providing real-time feedback during role plays. Guide teams through skill development using adult learning strategies while interpreting data from IP-CANS, WFI-EZ, and TOMs tools to improve practice. Accompany staff with youth and families, offering initial modeling before transitioning to observation and consultation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, schools, and community resources to coordinate care, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to program standards. Provide transportation for youth activities and maintain a trauma-informed, strength-based approach.
Required Qualifications
- AA or Bachelor's degree in human services or related field
- Experience working with youth in a mental health/social service setting
- 2 years' experience working with youth with challenging behaviors
- Demonstrated mastery-level Wraparound experience
- Deep understanding of the principles, phases, and roles of Wraparound
- Familiarity with assessment and fidelity tools (e.g., IP-CANS, WFI-EZ, TOMs)
- Experience using a variety of adult learning strategies to support skill development across learning styles
- One (1) year of experience working with target population
- Preferred Training/Experience in High Fidelity Wraparound (HFW)
- Preferred Training/Experience in Intensive Case Management (ICM)
- Ability to drive a motor vehicle without restrictions
- Senses of vision, hearing and smell sufficient to regularly operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry 10-20 pounds
- Ability to regularly sit, stand, climb stairs (1 or more flights) and walk
- Ability to regularly sit and use computer in office settings
- Ability to consistently deliver work and client care of exceptional quality
- Ability to uphold status of a single signer (40% or lower return rate for three consecutive months) by completing accurate documentation
- Ability to learn and correctly using Bells AI and its features for progress note completion
- Ability to submit accurate and complete progress notes or other documentation within 3 days
- Ability to submit crisis notes within 24 hours
- Ability to consistently and punctually attend scheduled shifts, appointments, meetings, and other work-related obligations
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients' families and caregivers
- Ability to establish rapport quickly and address client's needs
- Ability to solicit and use input from team members and outside agencies
- Ability to communicate data and information clearly, concisely, respectfully, effectively, and timely
- Ability to consistently deliver work and client care of exceptional quality while ensuring precision, thoroughness, and adherence to established standards and procedures
- Ability to take responsibility for one's performance by spending time appropriately distributed
- Ability to organize and prioritize assignments to ensure that newly emerging, urgent issues are resolved
- Awareness of personal cultural biases and assumptions
- Awareness of the cultural backgrounds of clients
- Commitment to continuous learning, skills improvement, and ability to adapt to changes in standards of practice in the field
