Job Summary
Provide clinical care to Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery patients at University Hospital, Clinics, and affiliated facilities. Engage in public service consultative activities with non-university groups as approved, and staff residents seeing Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery patients. Teach residents and house staff regarding Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and related issues while performing research relevant to Oculoplastics. Adhere to state, federal, and institutional compliance regulations, including mandatory training and reporting processes for potential compliance problems. Document all patient care services in medical records to support third-party billing and process charges in accordance with HCFA, Medicaid, Champus, and commercial carriers. This full-time academic appointment offers opportunities for teaching and engagement within a collaborative environment at Oregon Health & Science University's Casey Eye Institute.
Required Qualifications
- Must be board certified or eligible by the American Board of Ophthalmology
- Completion of an Accredited Ophthalmology Residency Program
- Completion of an Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship
- Eligible for medical licensure in Oregon and Washington
