Job Summary
Own all aspects of one or more of the factory's 300mm toolsets by defining roadmaps, establishing flow and procedures, and selecting materials to meet quality, yield, and productivity requirements. Review control charts and tool output daily to ensure excursion-free performance, drive continuous improvement on health and matching, and lead efforts to achieve record tool availability and low defect densities. Plan and conduct experiments to characterize processes, develop control systems for volume ramp, and train production engineers for transfer to other factories. Manage tool installations, conversions, and qualifications for new technology start-ups while sustaining matching performance across the module.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical or related engineering STEM field
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical or related engineering STEM field
- 3+ years of experience
- 1+ years of experience
- Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing ramps and technology transfers
- Semiconductor fabrication experience and sustaining semiconductor manufacturing toolsets
- Direct diffusion/implant module experience managing semiconductor equipment
- Proven track record with defectivity and availability improvements
- Experience working in a semiconductor factory as a technician or engineer
- Strong analytical and root-cause investigation skills
- Statistics and experimental design
- Technical and troubleshooting skills
- Must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position
- Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates
