OCI Security Architect

Job Summary
Design, build, and deploy end-to-end OCI security controls including Cloud Guard, Security Zones, and Threat Intelligence. Enforce Cloud Security Posture Management practices, baseline assessments, and continuous compliance reporting aligned with CIS benchmarks. Architect and implement OCI Key Management Service and Hardware Security Modules for FIPS 140-2 Level 3 compliance, while configuring OCI Vault for centralized secrets management. Implement OCI IAM controls, Security Zone policies, and network security architectures including VCN design, Security Lists, and OCI Firewall. Configure Web Application Firewall and API Gateway security for Oracle Fusion SaaS and public-facing applications. Manage OCI Certificate Service lifecycle and integrate Audit Service, Logging, and Vulnerability Scanning for centralized event analysis. Requires 6+ years of hands-on OCI security engineering experience and proven implementation across Cloud Guard, KMS, HSM, Vault, and OCI IAM.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of hands-on OCI security engineering experience across large enterprise tenancies
- Proven implementation experience across Cloud Guard, KMS, HSM, Vault, WAF, and OCI IAM
- Strong command of OCI Landing Zone security design and delivery
- Advanced proficiency in OCI IAM — this is non-negotiable
- Ability to own delivery outcomes and operate independently on complex programs
Desired Qualifications
- OCI Security Professional (1Z0-1104) or OCI Architect Professional certification
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Applications security
- Prior project exposure in the UAE or GCC
- Familiarity with FIPS 140-2, CIS Benchmarks, and regional compliance requirements
