Job Summary
This role provides respiratory care treatment, oxygen services, diagnostic testing, and ventilation support services to patients across all age groups. Key responsibilities include coordinating respiratory care, developing programs, setting up positive airway pressure therapy, educating patients on equipment use, and monitoring compliance. Candidates must have an associate's degree from an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Therapy and hold a current Respiratory Therapist license. Strong computer skills and effective communication abilities are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Current license as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice
- Certification by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- BLS – Basic Life Support Certification through American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Allied Health or Related Field
- Experience with Positive Airway Pressure (PAP) and other Respiratory Home Medical Equipment
