Ocean Operations Specialist

Job Summary
Execute booking and documentation processes with clients and carriers while troubleshooting shipments and escalating exceptions. Work intimately with account management and planning teams to ensure an effective end-to-end export process, planning and executing special freight operations for DG and reefer shipments. Assist with new business and process implementation, supporting internal and external clients to make informed decisions through specialized expertise. Inform business process and software capability needs to improve quality, service, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Contribute to developing procedures and systems that differentiate Flexport operations from the industry. This role requires a BA/BS degree, 1-2 years of logistics experience preferred, and flexibility for outside office hours or weekend shifts.
