Ocean Operations Associate

Execute booking and documentation processes with clients and carriers while performing timely shipment troubleshooting and exception escalation. Work intimately with account management and planning teams to ensure an effective end-to-end export process, coaching junior specialists on daily tasks. Plan and execute special freight operations such as DG and reefer shipments, assisting senior associates with new business and process implementation. Support internal and external clients to make informed decisions using operational expertise, while identifying software capability needs to improve quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Contribute to developing procedures that differentiate Flexport operations from the industry.
