Job Summary
Own and ensure delivery of customer promises by planning and managing vessel scheduling, service delivery, and asset utilization within your assigned scope. Lead vessel contingency and incident planning while coordinating new deployments and optimization opportunities with Network Design and Market Leads. Drive bunker consumption reduction and prepare final vessel gameplans in close coordination with terminal planners and the 24/7 Execution team. Participate in efficiency and cost savings projects to underpin customer experience and network efficiency. Collaborate with stakeholders across vessels, terminals, operations, and commercial teams to improve overall operations. Requires 5+ years of experience in shipping, ocean transportation, or logistics.
Required Qualifications
- at least 5 years of experience within shipping, ocean transportation, terminals, or the broader logistics and transportation industry
- experience in vessel operations, network planning, terminal operations, scheduling, or a comparable maritime environment
- strong understanding of operational efficiency, cost awareness, and service reliability principles
- You must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
