Job Summary
Coordinate and manage transportation activities, including tracking shipments from request to delivery and processing transport orders using SAP and Cargo Cockpit. Enter ETA and arrival alerts into the system, communicate delays to internal customers, and supply teams with POD, CMR, Invoice, and B/L documents while assisting with Customs Clearance. Resolve transportation issues between carriers and business units, analyze data for optimization, and monitor carrier performance metrics like OTD and OTIF. Ensure correct freight payments, manage cost verification processes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics operations.
Required Qualifications
- University, bachelor's degree, or high school diploma preferably in a field of logistics, supply chain, business administration or general middle acquired education
- Experience in transportation, logistics, customer service, 3PL (3rd Party Logistics) or other industry
- Understanding of transportation management principles, practices with ability to improve logistic processes
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel), SAP TM & Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Good English skills (min. B2), both written and spoken
- German language skills
