Job Summary
Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow while providing exceptional customer service within the Ocean Export Department. Track and trace ocean export files, maintain accurate data entry into operational systems, and update customer standard operating procedures in the DLSOPs. Meet all internal and external compliance regulations and oversee overseas communications with timely responses to internal and external requests. Escalate problems to management when necessary. Requires 6 months to 1 year of related experience, ocean documentation knowledge, and Hazardous Materials certification (preferred). Salary is $23-$25 per hour with comprehensive benefits including paid time off, health insurance, and stock purchase plans.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training
- Understanding of ocean documentation process
- Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
- Pro-active, strong organizational skills
- Good computer skills (Excel, Word)
- Fluent in English
Desired Qualifications
- Hazardous Materials certification (preferred)
