Coordinate shipments with shippers/receivers, book cargo, prepare and issue documents (B/L, Dock Receipt, CO, etc.), handle AES transmissions, learn and apply U.S. Government regulations, work with steamship lines and trucking companies to obtain quotations and movements of freight, and respond to customer needs with strong communication and Excel/Word skills; requires two years of ocean export experience and a high school diploma or GED.
Required Qualifications
- Two years experience in ocean export or similar role
- Strong communication skills with multi-faceted and diverse backgrounds
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and Word
- High School Diploma or GED
