Complete closing duties, including storing reusable goods, breaking down items, cleaning equipment and areas, returning gear to proper locations, locking refrigerators, restocking, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing the daily cleaning checklist. Set up, stock, and maintain work areas while inspecting china, glass, and silver for cleanliness prior to use. Practice clean-as-you-go procedures to maintain area standards throughout the shift. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, speak with others using clear professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
