Occupational Therapy Asst. _ Up to $33/hr

Conduct regular screening of residents to determine the best intervention or treatment for each individual patient based on scope of practice. Perform treatment plans for residents by following short and long-term goals and methods to achieve them according to the established plan of care by the supervising therapist. Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members. Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members and conduct therapy according to established plans while ensuring proper documentation and billing of services. Comply with all CMS documentation standards of practice daily using point-of-care documents as indicated. Maintain active OTA licensure in the state of practice and complete ongoing continuing education to maintain current certification.
