Job Summary
Conduct regular screenings of residents to determine the best intervention or treatment based on scope of practice. Perform treatment plans for residents by following short and long-term goals and methods established in the plan of care. Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members. Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members and conduct therapy according to established plans while ensuring proper documentation and billing of services. Comply with all CMS documentation standards of practice daily using point-of-care documents. Maintain active OTA licensure in the state of practice and complete ongoing continuing education to maintain current certification.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy
- active OTA licensure in state(s) of practice
- Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
