Job Summary
Assist Occupational Therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans while providing direct therapy services to clients under supervision. Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care. Educate clients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies to promote independence and improve quality of life, while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment. Requires current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and proficiency in electronic medical record documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and strategies for various populations
- Proficient in electronic medical record documentation
- Flexibility to work with clients of all ages and backgrounds
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
- Experience working in a variety of clinical settings (nursing homes, hospitals, schools, outpatient clinics)
- Knowledge of adaptive equipment and assistive technology
