Job Summary

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join an in-house team delivering patient-centered care in a skilled nursing facility. Work with licensed Occupational Therapists to assess residents’ needs, conduct regular treatment sessions, and maintain progress records. Report progress to the supervising OT, management, and families, and participate in ongoing professional development to maintain licensure. Must be a graduate of an accredited COTA program, with NBCOT exam or eligibility and a state license or eligibility to apply for one. Skills include effective verbal and written communication and sufficient hearing to evaluate residents’ needs. Describes collaboration within a team and adherence to treatment programs.
