Job Summary
Provide occupational therapy to patients in home care settings to restore their physical ability, strictly following the treatment plan defined by the supervising OT and adhering to state-specific laws. Instruct and aid patients, families, and caregivers on evidence-based treatments while observing, recording, and reporting patient responses and condition changes to the nurse supervisor and physician. Function independently across diverse home situations regardless of client demographics, managing multiple tasks simultaneously with strong communication and organizational skills. Requires current OT Assistant licensure, NCCPT certification, and a valid driver's license. Full-time employment offers a total cash target pay range of $49,500 to $109,300 based on productivity points and hourly rates.
Required Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice
- Current driver's license and vehicle insurance
- Access to a dependable vehicle
- Public transportation
- Must be certified and in good standing with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment
