Job Summary

Provide Occupational Therapy and related services for patients under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist while maintaining positive interactions with communities and clients. Implement treatment for assigned patients, supervise Rehab Techs during group and individual sessions, and manage case responsibilities. Assist in screening and initial evaluations, ensure accurate billing and documentation, and establish effective interactions with the interdisciplinary team. Build the OT program by integrating therapy into treatment plans, contributing to utilization reviews, family conferences, and making appropriate referrals. Maintain valid state licensure, comply with infection control and safety protocols, and adhere to all state and federal regulations. This role requires patient lifting of up to 50 pounds, ability to travel between communities, and flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds of dead weight alone
  • Must be able to travel between communities during scheduled hours
  • Must be able to work varying hours and shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Attends all mandatory meetings, trainings, and assignments as delegated
  • Must conduct self in an ethical, legal, and responsible manner at all times
  • Must adhere to the policies, principles, and guidance within the Team Member Handbook and Code of Business Conduct
  • Graduate of an ACOTE accredited school of occupational therapy
  • Maintain valid state license (where appropriate)
