Occupational Therapy Assistant

Provide patient care and support activities under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, utilizing therapeutic techniques for rehabilitation of patients with physical, cognitive, visual, and functional deficits. Deliver quality, cost-effective treatment to SMHCS customers while providing education to patients, families, and caregivers. Submit concise, accurate, and complete documentation and charges. Maintain current State of Florida Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure and Basic Life Support certification. Background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse is mandatory.
