Occupational Therapy Assistant

Provide Occupational Therapy and related services for patients under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist while maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients. Optimize the functional abilities and skills of patients through ongoing treatment per a plan of care. Supervise Rehab Techs where required and manage case responsibilities. Maintain valid state license, adhere to infection control procedures, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Understand relevant payment models and treatment guidelines to provide quality care with reasonable goals. Build a strong OT assistant program and enhance clinical expertise through continuing education activities.
