Job Summary
Occupational Therapy Assistant (PRN) in a long-term care setting. Under licensed OT supervision, assists with data collection and evaluation, executes and adapts treatment plans, delivers therapy per Medicare/state guidelines, maintains documentation, and collaborates with the care team and families. Roles include communicating with the treating team, supervising and educating staff/community, contributing to program planning, and participating in organizational activities. Requires an associate degree in OT, relevant certification (AOTA), and active state licensure; ability to perform transfers and lift approximately 50 pounds; onsite rehabilitation services with flexible scheduling in Salt Lake City, UT area.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Certification in accordance with the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Licensed by the State in the designated geographic area in his/her respective therapy profession
- Ability to lift, turn, move position, and transport the patient into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.
