Job Summary
Per diem Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) providing resident-centered occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist in a Skilled Nursing Facility. Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents with disabilities, deliver services per physician orders, respond to service requests, ensure treatments follow the plan of care, and provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers. Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations; participate in required meetings and collaborate with the rehab team. Texas license and COTA credential required; SNF/long-term care experience preferred. New graduates welcome to apply. In-house rehab with flexible schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required
- In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care experience preferred
- Current knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices
- Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
- Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
