Job Summary
Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) on a PRN per diem basis providing plan-based, person-centered OT services to residents under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. Responsibilities include planning and administering OT treatments, delivering services per physician orders, responding to service requests, ensuring treatments align with the care plan, providing clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers, monitoring responses to interventions, thorough timely documentation per policy and regulations, and attendance at required Rehab department meetings. The role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, knowledge of OT treatment practices, and experience with SNF/long-term care settings; experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System is preferred. Required Qualifications
- Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential
- In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
