Occupational Therapy Assistant, Per Diem, Day Shift

Job Summary
Implement treatment plans and select modalities to meet established goals for geriatric, orthopedic, neurologic, pediatric, and neonatal rehabilitation patients. Transport, transfer, and assist patients in wheelchairs, beds, tilt tables, and stretchers while ensuring safety and minimizing discomfort. Assist with dressing, toileting, and splint follow-ups under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists. Manage inpatient and outpatient schedules, coordinate visit arrivals, and report delays. Maintain, care for, and clean equipment and supplies. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Requires Occupational Therapy Assistant certification, CPR/BLS certification, and an associate's degree or equivalent experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Education/GED or equivalent
- Associate's/Technical Degree in occupational therapy or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation acknowledgment
Desired Qualifications
- Two years' rehabilitative services experience or equivalent education
- Two years' occupational therapy experience
