Job Summary
Implement prescribed occupational therapy treatments under licensed therapist supervision, covering geriatric, orthopedic, neurologic, pediatric, and neonatal rehabilitation while managing splint follow-ups. Conduct home environmental assessments to assist with rehab care plan development and mentor staff on technical skills. Transport, transfer, and assist patients in wheelchairs, beds, and stretchers while ensuring safety, and support patients with dressing and toileting needs. Manage inpatient and outpatient schedules, coordinate visit arrivals, and maintain equipment and supplies. Requires Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure, CPR/BLS certification, a valid driver's license, and at least 21 years of age. Located in Camas, WA.
Required Qualifications
- High School Education/GED or equivalent
- Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in all applicable states of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Valid Driver's License (DL)
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment
- Acknowledge that you have accessed and read the E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices and understand the contents therein
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's/Technical Degree in occupational therapy or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Two years' rehabilitative services experience or equivalent education
- One year's occupational therapy experience
