Job Summary

Implement treatment plans and select modalities to meet established goals for geriatric, orthopedic, neurologic, pediatric, and neonatal rehabilitation cases. Transport, transfer, and assist patients in wheelchairs, beds, tilt tables, and stretchers while ensuring safety. Assist with dressing and toileting needs, participate in home environmental assessments, and help develop rehab care plans. Arrange patient schedules for visit arrivals, report delays, and maintain equipment and supplies. Work under minimal supervision with opportunities to mentor staff on technical skills. Requires Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure, CPR/BLS certification, a valid driver's license, and at least 21 years of age. Located in Troutdale, OR.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Education/GED or equivalent
  • Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in all applicable states of practice
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
  • Valid Driver's License (DL)
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older
  • Receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment
  • Acknowledge that you have accessed and read the E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices and understand the contents therein

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate's/Technical Degree in occupational therapy or equivalent combination of education/related experience
  • Two years' rehabilitative services experience or equivalent education
  • One year's occupational therapy experience
