Job Summary

Implement prescribed occupational therapy treatments for geriatric, orthopedic, neurologic, pediatric, and neonatal patients under licensed therapist supervision. Conduct home environmental assessments, assist with rehab care plan development, and mentor staff on technical skills. Transport, transfer, and assist patients with mobility devices, dressing, and toileting needs while ensuring safety. Manage inpatient and outpatient schedules, coordinate visit arrivals, and report delays. Maintain, care for, and clean equipment and supplies. Requires Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure, CPR/BLS certification, a valid driver's license, and two years of rehabilitative services experience.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Education/GED or equivalent
  • Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in all applicable states of practice
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
  • Valid Driver's License (DL)
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older
  • Receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment
  • Acknowledge that you have accessed and read the E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices and understand the contents therein

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate's/Technical Degree in occupational therapy or equivalent combination of education/related experience
  • Two years' rehabilitative services experience or equivalent education
  • One year's occupational therapy experience
