Job Summary
Implement prescribed occupational therapy treatments under licensed therapist supervision, including geriatric, orthopedic, neurologic, pediatric, and neonatal rehabilitation alongside splint follow-ups. Conduct home environmental assessments and assist in developing rehab care plans. Perform patient transfers, assist with dressing and toileting needs, and manage inpatient and outpatient scheduling while reporting visit delays. Maintain equipment and supplies, mentor staff on technical skills, and ensure patient safety during all interactions. Requires OT Assistant licensure, CPR/BLS certification, a valid driver's license, and at least 21 years of age. Required Qualifications
- High School Education/GED or equivalent
- Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in all applicable states of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Valid Driver's License (DL)
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment
- Acknowledge that you have accessed and read the E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices and understand the contents therein
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's/Technical Degree in occupational therapy or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Two years' rehabilitative services experience or equivalent education
- One year's occupational therapy experience
