Job Summary
Implement treatment plans and select modalities to meet established goals for geriatric, orthopedic, neurologic, pediatric, and neonatal rehabilitation cases. Transport, transfer, and assist patients with mobility devices, dressing, and toileting needs while ensuring safety. Conduct home environmental assessments and assist with rehab care plan development. Manage patient schedules for visit arrivals and report delays. Maintain, care for, and clean equipment and supplies. Mentors and trains staff on technical skills. Requires Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and a valid driver's license. Works under minimal supervision. Required Qualifications
- High School Education/GED or equivalent
- Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in all applicable states of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Valid Driver's License (DL)
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- All required vaccinations
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's/Technical Degree in occupational therapy or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Two years' rehabilitative services experience or equivalent education
- One year's occupational therapy experience
