Job Summary
The Occupational Therapy Assistant will primarily work within assisted and independent living communities, with some home visits possible within the community. The patient population is geriatric, with most cases under Medicare Part A Home Health, along with some Part B. Eligible for Florida state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant; valid driver’s license and CPR certification required. New graduates will be supported and mentored. Full-time is preferred with 40 hours per week available; part-time and PRN considered. The role operates within Discovery at Home, servicing a Naples, FL area on a schedule that supports flexible hours while delivering occupational therapy services in home health and community-based settings.
Required Qualifications
- Eligible for FL state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must have a current CPR certification
- New grad COTAs will be supported and mentored
- Open to candidates who require sponsorship to work in the United States
