Job Summary
Plan and administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore function, and promote healing under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. Provide skilled interventions, monitor patient response, and instruct patients, families, and caregivers while ensuring all care aligns with established plans of care. Relay service requests and referrals to the Occupational Therapist and complete required documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations. Attend designated meetings as assigned by the Director of Rehab. This role offers in-house rehab placement with competitive compensation, flexible schedules, and welcomes new graduates.
Required Qualifications
- Active/Valid Arkansas license as Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
Desired Qualifications
- SNF/Long term care experience preferred
- Current knowledge of treatment practices
- Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
