Job Summary
Provide person-centered occupational therapy to residents and patients under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, planning and administering OT treatments to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing. Deliver skilled OT services in accordance with physician orders, respond to service requests, ensure treatments follow the established plan of care, provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers, monitor responses, and complete documentation in line with company policy and regulations. Attend required meetings and support the Director of Rehab. In-house rehab, full-time schedule with benefits. Bay City, TX; in-person. Requires Texas OT Assistant license and COTA credential; SNF/long-term care experience preferred; familiarity with Net Health is a plus; strong communication and teamwork skills; open to new graduates.
Required Qualifications
- Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required
- In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards
- SNF or long-term care experience preferred
- Current knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices
- Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
