Job Summary
Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to residents with temporary or long-term disabilities, including planning and administering treatments to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing. Deliver skilled OT services per physician orders, respond to requests for service, ensure treatments align with the plan of care, provide clinical instruction to patients, families, and caregivers, monitor responses to interventions, and complete timely documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations. Attend required meetings and maintain regulatory compliance. This role requires an active Texas OTA license and COTA credential, and is in-house rehab within a skilled nursing/long-term care setting. Required Qualifications
- Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential
- In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care preferred
- Knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices
- Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
