Job Summary
Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing. Provide skilled services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, relay referrals, and ensure all interventions align with established plans of care. Monitor patient responses, report changes, and provide clinical instruction to patients, families, and caregivers while completing required documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations. Attend designated meetings with the Director of Rehab. Required Qualifications
- Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential
- Good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
Desired Qualifications
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care experience
- Current knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices
- Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System
