Job Summary
Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders under Occupational Therapist supervision. Administer ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices. Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements. Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist. Join a facility with in-house therapy teams, strong collaboration across departments, and opportunities for clinical leadership and advanced practice within a post-acute care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current and active State license/registration where applicable
