Job Summary
As a PRN Home Health COTA Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will provide occupational therapy services under the direction of the Occupational Therapist within patients' homes. Key responsibilities include applying therapeutic self-care activities to improve patient independence and functionality, preparing clinical and progress notes, and evaluating equipment needs. Candidates must have an active Florida COTA license and at least one year of experience as a COTA, with strong skills in assessment and patient education.
Required Qualifications
- Active Florida COTA license
- Minimum of one (1) year experience as a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient education skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior home health COTA experience strongly preferred
- Experience using Homecare Homebase (HCHB) EMR
