Job Summary
Perform comprehensive Occupational Therapy treatments under Supervising Occupational Therapist goals and treatment plans, developing home exercise programs in partnership with patients' caregivers. Collaborate and coordinate care between various providers and disciplines while completing a minimum number of weekly patient visits. Meet deadlines for chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork, adhering to agency policies and federal, state, and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric occupational therapy. Maintain understanding of expectations and standards by meeting with agency personnel as necessary. This bilingual role serves families in Brownsville, TX and surrounding areas through our San Antonio division, offering paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, mileage reimbursement, and a company-issued laptop.
Required Qualifications
- current/active license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Texas
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Flexibility to shift resources and priorities as necessary, based on the needs of the business
- Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop computer, phone, email, web browser)
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years as a pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Experience in a home-health setting
