Job Summary
Full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant in a skilled nursing facility. Responsible for selecting therapy activities per the plan of care with the supervising occupational therapist, assisting residents with daily activities, monitoring performance, teaching use of equipment to aid daily function, collaborating with the OT to establish rehabilitation plans, and maintaining a cooperative healthcare-team relationship while applying evidence-based practices aligned with AOTA standards. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited OTA Program
- Current New York State OTA License
- Experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric care setting is preferred, but new graduates with relevant experience
