Job Summary
Provide prescribed occupational therapy services in patients' homes under physician orders and plan of care, including initial assessment, plan of care maintenance, program development, modifications, and reassessments every 30 days; collaborate with physicians on treatment changes; contribute to patient care planning with other home health personnel; promote patients’ independence and quality of life through skilled OT procedures and interventions; requires licensure and eligibility for national certification, with flexible scheduling and potential work-from-home options.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and/or certified by successfully completing the National Certification examination
- Eligible for the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Currently licensed by the Board of Occupational and Physical Therapy Examiners in the state in which practicing, unless licensure does not apply
- Minimum of one year in an acute care setting
- Two (2) years experience in Home Health preferred
