Job Summary
Deliver occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, assisting patients in improving independence with daily living skills and functional activities. Monitor patient response to treatment, communicate progress with the supervising Occupational Therapist, and educate patients on exercises, adaptive equipment, and home programs. Complete accurate documentation while supporting a positive patient experience as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. This role opens October 2026 for a new outpatient program in Mitchell, SD, offering flexible part-time scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license (or eligibility for licensure) in South Dakota
