Job Summary
Provide skilled occupational therapy treatment to adult and geriatric patients in a skilled nursing facility and post-acute rehabilitation setting under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Implement individualized treatment programs focused on functional and measurable outcomes to improve activities of daily living, functional mobility, strength, cognition, and overall independence. Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress with the supervising Occupational Therapist while maintaining timely, accurate documentation to support quality care and reimbursement standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and facility staff to support positive patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license (or eligibility for licensure) in applicable state
- Strong communication, organization, and clinical reasoning skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and professional standards
