Job Summary
Provides direct occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist in an inpatient acute care setting. Responsibilities include implementing the treatment plan, collaborating with the OT to modify treatment as patient status changes, applying modalities, and documenting patient and family education regarding deficits and progress. Must meet physical requirements and safely handle patients and equipment; work in a fast-paced clinical environment with 40 hours per week. Education and licensing requirements include an associate degree in occupational therapy assisting, an applicable state OT assistant license, and BLS for Healthcare Providers.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant required

- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required
