Job Summary
Occupational Therapist sought to join an established Adult Social Care team in the East of County Durham area. You will conduct community-based OT assessments, perform moving and handling assessments, assess and prescribe equipment, coordinate minor and major adaptations, and collaborate with service users, families, carers, and multidisciplinary professionals to enable safe, independent living. Responsibilities include completing community OT assessments, providing specialist recommendations for moving and handling, prescribing equipment to support independence and safety, coordinating adaptations, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely interventions. Requires HCPC registration and OT qualification with experience as a progressed or senior OT; delivering strong assessment, communication, and problem-solving skills within a busy community caseload. Immediate start available with a referral bonus opportunity.
Required Qualifications

- Experience as a Progressed or Senior Occupational Therapist
- Strong knowledge of moving and handling practices
