Job Summary
Conduct skilled occupational therapy services across inpatient, outpatient, and hospice settings at WhidbeyHealth Medical Center. Perform and analyze tests to assess disability from disease, injury, or development, then develop and modify treatment programs aligned with MD orders and payer requirements. Complete patient evaluations, provide education on disease management and durable medical equipment, and document interventions with clear progress tracking toward discharge goals. Confers with providers regarding patient abnormalities and recommends assistive devices as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a school of occupational therapy
- Current Occupational Therapist License in the state of Washington
- Current BLS HCP verification
- Maintain a valid WA State Driver's License, personal insurance, and is insurable with the District's Insurance Carrier
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer at least 1 year of previous experience as an Occupational Therapist with work experience in acute care, skilled nursing and/or outpatient environments
- Knowledge of, and adherence to, the Code of Ethics of the American Occupational Therapy Association
