Job Summary
Address client performance aspects to support engagement in occupations affecting health and life quality. Select and adapt treatment models to direct interventions for activities of daily living, applying strategies to maximize safety. Teach clients new task approaches and educate them on breaking activities into achievable components. Assess home and other environments, advising on alterations consistent with client needs and recommending adaptive equipment training. Guide family members and caregivers while observing and documenting progress toward long and short-term treatment goals. Collect data on processes followed and maintain regular client follow-ups.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a certified Occupational Therapist
