Job Summary
Provide age-appropriate occupational therapy interventions in the patient’s home setting, collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and revise the plan of care, deliver assessments, therapeutic exercises, education, and treatments, and ensure timely documentation. Assume a preceptor role for new employees, participate in staff education and continuing education, and communicate patient status changes to the MD while adhering to regulatory guidelines and care-team conferences to promote safe, effective recovery.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy
- Occupational Therapist license (Georgia)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required; BLS Instructor/Provisional may be required
- Georgia Driver's License
- Private Vehicle Insurance
- Minimum 1 year of full-time Occupational Therapy experience; Home Health experience preferred
